Elite NIL Mixer & Tour set for Nov. 12 in Houston
Truly Grand Sports and Hope for Youth will bring athletes, families, coaches, business leaders and community partners together for a free night of NIL education, strategy and connection.

HOUSTON — The conversation around Name, Image and Likeness is coming directly to Houston's athletes and families.
Truly Grand Sports and Hope for Youth will present The Elite NIL Mixer & Tour on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2026, at the Judy W. Cook Building. The free event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
The event is designed to connect amateur, high school and collegiate athletes with the people and information that can help them better understand the evolving NIL marketplace. Parents, coaches, local business owners, professionals and community leaders are also invited to attend.
More than a mixer
As NIL continues to change the business of amateur and collegiate sports, the gap between opportunity and understanding remains a major challenge. The Elite NIL Mixer & Tour aims to close that gap by bringing education, strategy and real relationships into the same room.
Attendees will hear conversations covering the current NIL landscape, sports advisory, strategic planning, investing and the role corporate and community partnerships can play in an athlete's development.
- The NIL landscape
- Investing
- Sports advisory
- Corporate partnerships
- Strategic planning
- Community partnerships
Give athletes and families a clearer path while connecting them with businesses, advisors and community partners who can help create real opportunities.
Building Houston's NIL ecosystem
The event reflects a broader effort by Truly Grand Sports and Hope for Youth to make NIL education accessible at the community level. The goal is not only to help athletes recognize their value, but also to help them approach branding, partnerships and financial decisions with a plan.
For local companies and community organizations, the mixer will offer a closer look at how partnerships with athletes can create shared value. For athletes and parents, it will provide a setting to ask questions, build relationships and learn how to evaluate opportunities before making commitments.
The evening will also include special guests, food, networking, educational resources and giveaways.
